The COVID-19 Pandemic has created challenges for everyone. We all have a responsibility to slow "community spread" of the virus. Therefore, there will be no public gathering in Town Hall for this meeting. This raises another challenge: how do we hold the public hearings on the agenda remotely? We continue to use the "Zoom" platform. If you want to watch the meeting, you may do so via the Town's Web site or via cable TV as usual as mentioned below. However, if you wish to register to speak at the meeting using Zoom, we have worked out the details. In memory of Bill Tibbs, William Henry Tibbs IV, also known to others as “Tibbs, Brother, and Bill,” former Greenburgh Assistant Town Building Inspector, and Trustee in the Village of Elmsford departed this life on December 9, 2020. Today, we will celebrate his life and loving spirit that will live in our hearts forever.

In memory of all the victims of COVID19, now more than 302,000 lives lost in the United States alone.

SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently (09/19/19), Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (9/18/19) Moody's reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

Advance signup via PublicComment@GreenburghNY.com is required. See instructions on first page. A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced. No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda involving a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time

The Town’s share of the refund is $1,377±; the County’s share is $10,355±; the No.Yonkers Sewer District’s share is $1,465±; the Irvington Union Free School District’s share is $56,464±. Refunds from all sources total $69,661±

Resolution authorizing tax certiorari settlement with petitioner Devoe Twin Properties LLC for property located at 20 Devoe Street. The Town’s share of the refund is $90±; the County’s share is $674±; the No.Yonkers Sewer District’s share is $106±; the Dobbs Ferry Union Free School District’s share is $4,451±. Refunds from all sources total $5,322±

Resolution authorizing the continued retention of the Law Firm of Landman Corsi Ballaine & Ford, P.C., as Special Counsel for the Town of Greenburgh regarding federal litigation stemming from the zoning classification of a property known as “One Dromore Road”, at a cost not to exceed an additional $400,000, all of which the Town Board anticipates will be reimbursed by its insurance carriers
