The Town of Greenburgh has been designated a ”Tree City of the World,” 1 of 38 municipalities in the U.S., and 1 of 2 municipalities in NYS. "Tree Cities of the World" is a United Nations and the Arbor Day Foundation program.

The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings. Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes. We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh. As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue. Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue. We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

In memory of George Edberg, retired Highway Dept. team member, passed away May 10th. George worked thirty years with the town, he was a hard working employee who was well liked by all his coworkers.

In memory of Robert Marano, Jr., retired Water Department employee, passed away this month. Rob was a very well respected and beloved town employee.

In memory of LaChrista Brabham, beloved daughter of Tyrone Caver, passed away in May. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tyrone and his family.

In memory of the 601,741+ individual victims of COVID-19 who have died in the United States, 3,840,223+ deaths worldwide, each leaving family members and friends too soon

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently, on 3/23/2021, Moody's reaffirmed the Town earned Moody's highest rating and, on 03/26/2021, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town earned Standard & Poors highest rating.

To consider a Local Law amending Chapter 285 of the Code of the Town of Greenburgh, entitled “Zoning,” as it relates to Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) uses

To consider an Amended Site Plan Application by Ferncliff Cemetery Association, which is located at 280 Secor Road (P.O. Hartsdale)

To consider a Local Law amending Chapter 520 of the Code of the Town of Greenburgh entitled “Conservation Advisory Council” to expand the Council up to nine (9) members with staggered two year terms

Re-opening of a Public Hearing to continue consideration of the extension of the Finmor Sewer District in the vicinity of 701 Dobbs Ferry Road

No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda involving a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time
