The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings. Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes. We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh. As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue. Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue. We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently, on 3/23/2021, Moody's reaffirmed the Town earned Moody's highest rating and, on 03/26/2021, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town earned Standard & Poors highest rating.

To consider the 2022 Preliminary Budget. (The 2022 Tentative Budget, which is considered the 2022 Preliminary Budget at this point, may be found on the GreenburghNY.com homepage at the bottom under Quick Links.)

To consider a Local Law which would add a new section (Chapter 335) to the Code of the Town of Greenburgh, entitled “Cannabis,” regarding local municipal opt-out of adult use cannabis on-site consumption businesses (and Cannabis retail dispensaries)

No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time.
