The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings. Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes. We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh. As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue. Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue. We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently, on 3/23/2021, Moody's reaffirmed the Town earned Moody's highest rating and, on 03/26/2021, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town earned Standard & Poors highest rating.

To consider a Local Law which would add Chapter 335 to the Code of the Town of Greenburgh, entitled “Cannabis,” regarding local municipal opt-out of adult use cannabis on-site consumption businesses (See Resolutions CD-1 and CD-2)

To consider a rate increase for the Consolidated Water District #1 (See Resolution PW-2)

The Town’s share of the refund is $47,746±; the County’s share is $27,000±; the Bronx Valley Sewer District’s share is $3,604±; the Fairview Fire District’s share is $37,444±; the Consolidated Sewer Mtc District’s share is $1,610±; the Elmsford Union Free School District’s share is $153,949±. Refunds from all sources total $271,354±
