The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings.  Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes.  We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh.  As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue.  Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue.  We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

MOMENT OF SILENCE

In memory of the 842,141+ individual victims of COVID-19 who have died in the United States, 5,492,595+ deaths worldwide, each leaving family members and friends too soon

In memory of Constantine Andreadis, (a/ka/ Dr. A) as he was known, a beloved and cherished teacher at Woodlands High School. He was the best. A kind, giving, caring and super involved teacher who loved everyone one of his students. He taught art and photography but also chaired the yearbook club and Greek club and directed the WISE Internship Program at Woodlands. He opened doors for so many to potential careers that students wouldn't have dreamed to explore without him.  He made coming to school a happy, warm, welcoming and inclusive experience. His classroom was always a safe place to go for help or advice.  He was an incredible educator who touched many lives in this community.
