To speak in person at the meeting, notify the Town Clerk on the dais upon your arrival. You will be called in the order of received requests. To speak via Zoom, send an email to PublicComment@GreenburghNY.com no later than 6:00 PM on the day of the meeting. A Zoom link will then be emailed shortly before the meeting. Remote speakers will be called upon after in person speakers in the order of electronically raised hands. The Greenburgh Town Board appreciates comments from residents at its open meetings. Recently, comments have been made that, whether intended or not, were hurtful to other members of the public because the comment perpetuated racial or religious tropes and stereotypes. We believe it is appropriate to remind everyone that bigotry and hate have no place in Greenburgh. As we move forward we will work together to educate each other around this issue. Our goal is to maintain a robust and constructive dialogue. We are confident that this Town can continue to have these dialogues.

In memory of the people in Ukraine killed during Russia's invasion and relentless intentional targeted bombing of civilians in apartment buildings, hospitals, train stations, schools and children centers, with mass graves being found after invaded areas have been retaken, all in Russia's effort to destroy Ukraine and its people, who are forced to fight for their land, their freedom, and general democratic principles. May they rest in peace and peace be restored to Ukraine

In memory of all the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre (10th Anniversary) In memory of “Americo Carpenito” ("Mitty"). Mitty owned several restaurant establishments in the region over the years and assisted his daughter Tina for more than 30 years at Pas Tina's Ristorante on Central Ave in Hartsdale. An enormous persona he endeared himself to all who knew him. He was known for making every patron feel good by telling his patrons - "you are the best." He was a great businessman, a kind and considerate human being who made many people happy during his life

In memory of Nellie King, longtime resident, Town of Greenburgh. Mrs. King and her husband were the first African American family to purchase a home in the Juniper Hill community of Greenburgh. Nellie was the first African American woman to hold an Administrative Assistant position in Greenburgh Public Schools. A leader in her own right, she collaborated with the district administration to help facilitate the hiring of more women into similar positions. Throughout her life in Greenburgh, Mrs. King was actively involved in community service and was instrumental in encouraging many other residents to become engaged in civic activities

In memory of Janet Kuney - Hartsdale Greenburgh Rotary. Janet was a long-time Rotarian, in fact she was one of the first women to join the club and served multiple terms as the treasurer

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently, on 3/23/2021, Moody's reaffirmed the Town earned Moody's highest rating and, on 03/26/2021, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town earned Standard & Poors highest rating.

Advance signup is required. Submit your name, street name where you reside and whether you live in Unincorporated or Incorporated Greenburgh. Also state this information at the podium before speaking. A continuous five minute limit per speaker per hearing will be strictly enforced. The clock will start when a speaker begins speaking and will not be stopped for any reason until the speaker is finished or five minutes has elapsed, whichever occurs first. Interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will not be permitted. If a speaker insists on an immediate answer, should an answer be provided, it shall be part of the speaker's five minute allocation and not be interrupted. There will be a second five minute round unless the hearing is going to be adjourned to a subsequent hearing date. If the hearing is going to be adjourned to a subsequent hearing date, the Town Board may waive the second round.
