JOE DANKO PRESENT AND WE SHOULD EXPLAIN THE URGENCY OF THE HAVING THE SPECIAL MEETING, UM, ON VER ON SHORT NOTICE IS BECAUSE, UM, WE'VE GOT WORD FROM ALBANY THAT THEY ARE INCLINED TO PASS THE RIGHT LIGHT PROGRAM FOR THE TOWN OF GREENBURG, BUT WE HAD TO ACT EXPEDITIOUSLY. THEY, UM, AMENDED THE BILLS AND WE HAVE THE NEW BILL NUMBERS, AND WE NEEDED TO PASS A NEW RESOLUTION. RIGHT? SO THE RESOLUTION IS TB ONE RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN BOARD OF THE TOWN OF GREENBURG, ADOPTING A HOME RULE MESSAGE OF SUPPORT, AND REQUESTING THAT THE NEW YORK STATE LEGISLATURE EXECUTE AN AMENDMENT TO THE NEW YORK STATE VEHICLE AND TRAFFIC LAW WHILE AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF A RED LIGHT CAMERA PROGRAM IN THE TOWN OF GREENBURG TO ALLOW THE INSTALLATION OF RED LIGHT CAMERAS AT NO MORE THAN TWO INTERSECTIONS WITHIN AND UNDER THE JURISDICTION OF THE TOWN OF GREENBURG AT ANY ONE TIME PURSUANT TO PROPOSED NEW YORK SENATE BILL S 9 3 0 5 A AND NEW YORK STATE ASSEMBLY, BILL A 8 9 6 OH BI WOULD LIKE TO MOVE THE RESOLUTION.
