GOOD NEWS...The Town has the highest possible bond rating from both Standard & Poors (AAA) and Moodys (AAA). Only 3% of communities in nation have this rating. Any individual or group interested in a visit from the Town Board should email the Board at TownBoard@GreenburghNY.com The Town Board will hold the following Community Outreach Meetings - Community Outreach Meeting, Monday, May 2, 2011, 6:30PM at Secor Road Park, Secor Road, Hartsdale (In the event of rain the meeting will be held in the Multipurpose Building)
Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form. The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (until 7:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting. A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced. No interruptions by the members of the Town Board or public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time.
To consider a Local Law amending Chapter 440 of the Code of the Town of Greenburgh entitled “Veterans Alternative Exemption Law” To consider the Special Permit Application by Bosphorus Restaurant Inc. (D/B/A Bosphorus Mediterranean Cuisine) for a restaurant located at 213-215 East Hartsdale Avenue in the Hartsdale Center District Zone and designated on the tax assessment map of the Town of Greenburgh as Parcel ID 8.300-223-3
To consider a petition submitted by Danfor Realty Co., LLC, (the “petitioners”) to amend the Zoning Ordinance of the Town of Greenburgh, Chapter 285, Section 285-7, to create a Conservation District (CD) Overlay in connection with a preliminary subdivision application by the petitioners for amendments to the Zoning Map of the Town of Greenburgh to permit a CD Overlay District on lands currently zoned as R-40 One-Family Residence District, situated on the North end of Blueberry Road, approximately 500 ft. from the intersection of Mountain Road and Blueberry Road and designated on the Tax Map of the Town of Greenburgh as Parcel ID 7.440-252-4 & 7.440-252-9.
