MOMENT OF SILENCE In memory of Cleveland Brown, educator, educational activist and community leader, spent the majority years of his adult life as a resident of the town of Greenburgh. A teacher in the White Plains School system, Cleveland served as president of the Parkway Homes Civic Association and, along with other residents, successfully launched efforts to further integrate the professional staff of the Valhalla Public Schools. He was also a member of the Parkway Gardens/Parkway Homes Garden Club. A dedicated and committed member of Union Baptist Church, Cleveland was a Deacon, sang in several choirs and spearheaded the production of an impressive hardback church pictorial, thus, helping to preserve a part of history of one of the Town’s oldest religious institutions In memory of Richard Warnke, worked for the Town of Greenburgh in the Water Department until he retired. He was also a longtime active member of the Irvington Fire Department
