GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's. Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently (09/25/18), Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (9/26/18) Moody's reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

PUBLIC HEARINGS

To consider an agreement between the Town of Greenburgh and the Village of Tarrytown for the Fire Protection Services to Unincorporated Greenburgh residents of the Glenville Fire Protection District at a cost of $313,460

PUBLIC COMMENT

Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form. The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting. A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced. No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted. Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time. Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment. Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time.

Resolution authorizing tax certiorari settlement with petitioner Niksus Realty, LLC for property located at 887 Central Park Avenue. The Town’s share of the refund is $4,669±; the County’s share is $3,629±; the Bronx Valley Sewer District’s share is $353±; the Edgemont Union Free School District’s share is $15,003±; Greenville Fire District’s share is $2,655±; the Consolidated Sewer Mtc. District’s share is $155±. Refunds from all sources total $26,465±.

Resolution authorizing tax certiorari settlement with petitioner Sunnyside Federal Savings and Loan Association of Irvington for property located at 56 Main Street. The Town’s share of the refund is $140±; the County’s share is $1,020±; the Saw Mill Valley Sewer District’s share is $140±; the Irvington Union Free School District’s share is $6,010±. Refunds from all sources total $7,310±.

Resolution authorizing tax certiorari settlement with petitioner Stanley Quittman for property located at 26 Nepperhan Avenue. The Town’s share of the refund is $363±; the County’s share is $2,728±; the Saw Mill Valley Sewer District’s share is $366±; the Elmsford Union Free School District’s share is $15,403±. Refunds from all sources total $18,861±.

Resolution authorizing the Town Supervisor to enter into an Inter-Municipal Agreement with the Hartsdale Public Parking District (HPPD) to reimburse HPPD the costs of personnel and benefit expenses for a Full-Time Parking Enforcement Officer and two Part-Time Parking Enforcement Officers, from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2019, in an amount not to exceed $100,800 (To be held over to 01/29/19 Town Board Special Meeting)
