The Town Board will vote in public to go into Executive Session at 7:00 PM for the purpose of interviewing candidates for Boards & Commissions. The agenda items below will begin at approximately 7:30 PM.

MOMENT OF SILENCE  (Personal reflections on the life of Kevin Morgan are welcome)

In memory of Councilman Kevin Patrick Morgan, 63, lifelong resident of Elmsford, NY died April 4th, 2019 after a short battle with cancer.  Born May 20th, 1955 to the late Alphonsus and Rosie (O’Reilly) Morgan, he is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Parks) of 40 years, son Kevin (Rhonda) and daughter Kristen (Rajesh) Kumar.  Poppy to Evan, AJ, Julia, and Liam.  He was a decorated retired police detective in the Greenburgh Police Department, an Investigator for the Legal Aid Society, Greenburgh Town Councilman, member of the Elmsford Rotary, and Leukemia and Lymphoma Society board member in which he won man of the year for his fundraising efforts.  Kevin is survived by sister Linda and his brothers Robert and Richard and many nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his sister Deborah and his brother Brian.  Reposed at Hawthorne Funeral Home. Funeral Mass was Monday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Elmsford followed by Interment, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Greenburgh, N.Y.  In lieu of flowers donations to Leukemia and Lymphoma Society https://donate.lls.org/lls/donate

SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS

          GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's.  Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability.  Recently (09/25/18), Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (9/26/18) Moody's reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form.  The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting.  A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced.  No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted.  Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time.  Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment.  Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time.
