SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS

GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's.  Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability.  Recently (09/25/18), Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town's highest rating and on (9/26/18) Moody's reaffirmed the Town's highest rating.

MOMENT OF SILENCE

In memory of all who died on September 11, 2001 and afterwards as a result of the terror attacks on the World Trade Center buildings, on the Pentagon, and at the ground crash site in Stonycreek Township, Somerset County, PA.

In memory of Liz Shollenberger, who began her career as an attorney. She was Chair of the White Plains Democratic City Commitee for thirteen years, taught at NYU Law School for two years, and at the end of 2016 was appointed by the Common Council as a City Court Judge

In memory of Robert F. Weinberg, a major developer in Geenburgh. He was the co-founder of Robert Martin Company. Working side-by with his life-time business partner, the late Martin S. Berger, Mr. Weinberg and the Robert Martin Company developed homes and office parks. Mr. Weinberg played a significant role in the development of Greenburgh - as we know it
