SUPERVISOR & TOWN COUNCIL REPORTS/ANNOUNCEMENTS
          The Town Board of the Town of Greenburgh will attend a meeting at the Village of Tarrytown Village Hall, 1 Depot Plaza, Tarrytown, NY, on Thursday, October 3, 2019, 7:00 PM. The meeting is being held to present the Route 119 Complete Street Study. The study includes a concept design to reconfigure Route 119 with enhanced accommodations for bicyclists, pedestrians and uses of mass transit.
          GOOD NEWS...The Town continues (since 2008) to have the highest possible bond rating from Standard & Poors (AAA) and (since 2010) (Aaa) from Moody's.  Less than 1% of communities in the nation have this record of financial stability. Recently, on September 19, 2019, Standard & Poors once again reaffirmed the Town' earning its highest bond rating.  Similarly, on September 18, 2019, Moody's reaffirmed the Town earning its highest bond rating.

To consider (1) eliminating the current hydrant rental charge imposed by the Greenburgh Consolidated Water District (GCWD) on the Fairview Fire District, Greenville Fire District and Hartsdale Fire District, as well as on villages providing Fire Protection District services to areas served by the GCWD and (2) adding a fire hydrant charge to GCWD water usage bills and, if so, the preferred method for doing so
 
To consider an application by the Town Building Inspector for an Order from the Town Board to remove unsafe structures located at 100 High Point Road
 
To consider a Local Law amending Chapter 285 of the Zoning Ordinance, entitled “Zoning,” as it relates to fully enclosed Commercial Recreation Uses
 
PUBLIC COMMENT

Advance signup is preferred. Speakers will be called in the order of receipt of a Public Comment Request Form.  The forms are available on the Town Web site, in the Town Clerk’s Office (between the hours of 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on the day of the meeting), and on the dais next to the Town Clerk during the meeting.  A three minute limit per speaker will be strictly enforced.  No interruptions by Town Board members, the Town Clerk or the public will be permitted.  Any questions on agenda items should be asked at this time.  Department Heads have the option of leaving the meeting following Public Comment.  Therefore, if anyone has questions that are related to resolutions/items on the agenda that she/he would like to direct to a specific Department Head, those questions should be raised at this time.
