3.   OLD CASES
 
a.   ZBA Case No. 19-40 – Richard and Alexis Ablezer, for property located at 12 Southway, (P.O. Hartsdale, N.Y.). Applicant is applying for an area variance from Section 285-15(B)(5)(b) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the distance from a driveway to the side lot line from 10 ft. (required) to 5.33 ft. (proposed) in order to expand a driveway.  The property is located in an R-7.5 One-Family Residence District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 8.170-106-18.
 
b.   ZBA Case No. 19-37 – Ivana Greenfield, for property located at 36 Manitou Trail, (P.O. White Plains, N.Y.).  Applicant is applying for an area variance from Section 285-15(B)(5)(b) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the distance from a driveway to the side lot line from 10 ft. (required) to .6 ft. (proposed), in order to legalize the driveway.  The property is located in an R-7.5 One-Family Residence District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID:  7.350-182-15.
 
4.   NEW CASES
 
a.   ZBA Case No. 20-02 – John Garb & Lisa Ronco, for property located at 55 Spring Street, (P.O. Tarrytown, N.Y.). Applicant is applying for an area variance from Section 285-16(B)(4)(a) of the Zoning Ordinance to reduce the front yard from 20 ft. (required), 16.7 ft. (existing) to 16 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-16(B)(4)(b) to reduce the north side yard from 8 ft. (required) to 4 ft. (proposed); the south side yard from 10 ft. (required) to 7.4 ft. (proposed); from Section 285-16(B)(4)(c) to reduce a total of two side yards from 18 ft. (required), 17.9 ft. (existing) to 11. 4 ft. (proposed); and from Section 285-42(C)(1) to increase a nonconforming structure so as to increase such nonconformance, to construct an addition.  The property is located in an R-5 One-Family Residence District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID: 7.90-12-6.
 
b.   ZBA Case No. 20-03 - Lewis Masters Holdings LLC, for property located at 320 Saw Mill River Road (P.O.  NY.).  Applicant is applying for a Special Permit to operate a fully enclosed restaurant within a proposed ShopRite Supermarket.  The property is located in a DS-Designed Shopping District and is designated on the Town’s Tax Map as Parcel ID:  7.120-19-25
 
c.   ZBA Case No. 20-04 – Our Lady of Shkodra, for property located at 361 W. Hartsdale Avenue, (P.O. Hartsdale, N.Y.).  Applicant is applying for an area variance from Section 285-40(B)(4) of the Zoning Ordinance to increase the height of a proposed accessory structure from 12 ft. (permitted) to 24 ft. (proposed), in order to erect a statue on the property.  The property is located in an R-20 One-Family Residence District and is designated on the Town Tax Map as Parcel ID:  8.141-94-29.
 
d.   ZBA Case No. 20-05 - 609 Saw Mill Realty LLC, for property located at 607 Saw Mill River Road (P.O. Elmsford, N.Y.). Applicant is applying for sign variances from Section 240-3(C)(9) of the Sign & Illumination Law to erect four (4) wall signs on the north side of a building and two (2) wall signs on the south side of a building, where none are permitted on the side of a building; from Section 240-3(C)(9) of the Sign and Illumination Law to erect one (1) sign on the north side of a canopy and one (1) sign on the south side of a canopy, where none are permitted; from Section 240-3(C)(8) of the Sign and Illumination Law to increase the height of stacked lettering on a wall sign from 4 ft. (permitted) to 6.74 ft. (proposed); from Section 240-3(C)(10) of the Sign and Illumination Law to erect two (2) yard signs where a maximum of one (1) yard sign is permitted; and from Section 240-3(D)(11) of the Sign and Illumination Law to increase the size of each of the proposed yard signs from 20 sq. ft. (permitted) to 91 sq. ft. (proposed). The property is located in an LI-Light Industrial District and is designated on the Town’s Tax Map as Parcel ID:  7.60-3-9.1
